A light, budget-friendly, and super tasty dish… the sardines give it a unique flavor! 🤤
👩🍳 Preparation method:
1 Prepare the vegetables
Use any vegetables you like: bell peppers 🫑, zucchini 🥒, eggplants 🍆 or tomatoes 🍅.
Wash them and gently hollow them out with a spoon.
2 Prepare the stuffing
In a bowl, mix:
- 1 can of sardines mashed with a fork 🐟
- Grated tomato 🍅
- Finely chopped onion 🧅
- A bit of parsley 🌿
- 1 spoon of tomato paste
- A pinch of spices (salt, pepper, coriander, caraway)
- A splash of lemon juice 🍋
- A little olive oil 💧
If you like heat 🔥, add some harissa.
3 Stuff the vegetables
Fill each vegetable with the stuffing.
Place them in a lightly oiled baking dish.
4 Cooking
Bake at 180°C for 25 to 30 minutes, until the vegetables are soft and slightly golden.
5 Finishing
When out of the oven, add some fresh parsley 🌿 or a few drops of lemon 🍋 for extra freshness.
